Why does Migros sell moldy chestnuts for 13?
I really don't like it when I reach into the basket containing the chestnuts and my fingers are covered in mold!!!
I did find a few chestnuts that were not moldy, but of the 10 only 3 were edible, the others were full of worms!
For this price, I expect a bit more quality!
I also discovered this in various Migros stores in Zurich

This is not only a problem with chestnuts... My broccoli today was also moldy and the toast I bought yesterday should have expired yesterday... The pears didn't look much better either... What's going on...?

The product managers have taken your complaint on board and arranged for an even closer quality control. Unfortunately, it is sometimes the case that certain defects only become apparent after some time and therefore cannot be noticed during the checks.
However, we will certainly tighten up our controls so that this does not happen again.
