Packaging nonsense: an end after all - at least in this case
Verpackungsunsinn: doch ein Ende - zumindest in diesem Fall

Tonight on "Kassensturz": Plastic recycling. My example:
In our newly remodeled Migros, grilled chicken was previously sold open from the display in a coated paper bag, which could also be used in the microwave and for disposing of the bones if necessary. Today: plastic tray and lid approx. 25 x 20 x 15 cm, must also be packed in a "Chräschlisack" because of condensation! Also in the "Daily" area: plastic pots, dishes and cutlery! Great job, Migros! "Generation M" !?!?

Wow! Consumers have done it with their apparently massive in-store complaints:
Today, after more than a year and two months, the grilled chicken could be bought in paper bags again!!! The ecological idiocy with the oversized plastic packaging has come to an end - and apparently no more staff are needed after all! My "Migros grilled chicken boycott" has also come to an end!
