Packaging of cheese at the self-service counter
Verpackung von Käse an der Selbstbedienungstheke

Dear Migros,
We have been annoyed for years about the packaging of the cheese at the self-service counter.
Pre-cut portions of cheese are wrapped in foil in such a way that the product can only be removed by destroying the packaging. Not only is the film wrapped around the cheese in an incomprehensible way, but the film itself is extremely sticky and tears just as quickly.
If you wrap the painstakingly freed cheese in standard household cling film, the label is of course also gone.
Is it just us who are bothered by this packaging?
It is a considerable contrast to the very well thought-out packaging of roast beef, for example, where the two layers can be removed separately.
Why isn't it possible to wrap the cheese in paper like in the cheese dairies of my childhood? This way, the cheese - with the label intact - can be wrapped and unwrapped several times without any problems.
