I'm a fan of Migros, but recently I've been annoyed by various deteriorations. The first in my negative hit parade is the plastic packaging of berries and fruit. Twice I've had produce that turned out to be mud when I got home. Blueberries a week ago and mini kiwis this Saturday. They were mushy and inedible, but you couldn't tell by looking at them. Their employee said tersely that I could exchange spoiled goods, but should I keep them for a week until I shop at Migros again? Not to mention the plastic waste, which you can't even crumple up and should at least be returned to Migros!
My second annoyance: I'm single and do you know how many single people there are in Zurich and the surrounding area? But there is no single packaging, except for the open goods. As a single, do you either have to eat the same thing for half the week or throw it away? Which I can't do anyway.
I can only hope that someone will rummage through this wall of complaints and take them to heart. I have my doubts.
