Migros is recalling a fondue caquelon from its range. The reason: due to a stress crack, the base can break away and the hot cheese can leak out. The red and white porcelain caquelon with the Swiss cross has been on sale since September 2015.
There is a risk of injury with a fondue caquelon from the Migros range: due to a production error, there is a risk that the base of the caquelon can break away due to a stress crack. If this happens, the hot cheese can leak out and there is a risk of burns.
Migros is therefore asking its customers to stop using these fondue dishes and return them to a Migros store. The purchase price will be refunded.
