Now that an EU organic regulation prohibits the fortification of organic plant drinks with calcium and the corresponding drinks are all disappearing from Migros' shelves, would it be possible to continue offering the same products without the organic label? And would a "drink made from organic soybeans with calcium" be possible? I.e. a reference to the organic ingredients, but without labeling the whole product as "organic"?

ok, i didn't know about the ban... thanks for the info. however, the algae supplements were annoying to me anyway, just because of the little calcium that you can find elsewhere anyway, actually i should avoid algae. BUT YES, i really hope that you can get THIS delicious plant-based milk again, this time (finally) without added calcium.
*by the way, i am absolutely not a fan of these supplements (like vit b12) that are added to vegan products, just so that they resemble non-vegan products. as a vegan, i know where i can find "missing" vitamins/trace elements etc. myself, they don't have to be added to vegan cheese/milk or meat.

I guess they put in the additives so that they can sell the drinks with the additives at a higher price than the drinks without additives... and probably also for marketing reasons... As far as I'm concerned, there's no need to add protein to dairy products (to market them as high protein) or B12, calcium etc. to plant-based drinks. additives in plant-based drinks. Thanks for the information. The reference to Alnatura and organic makes sense, but it is incomprehensible to me that it is only permitted to disclose that individual ingredients come from (certified) organic cultivation if the entire product is certified organic. If I buy a plum cake that contains organic eggs and organic plums, but flour etc. from conventional cultivation, I am not allowed to know that the eggs and plums are organic. That makes no sense to me. But Migros can't help this regulation.
