Dear tigermieze47 this forum is about Migros, that's also the topic we want to read about here. But certainly not about the daily events of an insignificant town in the far reaches of eastern Switzerland. You may find their stories interesting or even amusing, but it annoys me and I'm sure many others to be bothered by off-topic local news in the Migros forum.

My goodness, you can overshoot the mark. Do you have to make such personal attacks? You can also simply point out that such topics don't belong in this forum and that's that. This is not the first off-topic thread that the kitty has opened. So you shouldn't be surprised if someone wonders why. I didn't attack the chick, I just asked questions and made assumptions. But I'm not surprised that you don't recognize that.

That's not true at all. Migros in Chur is on the northern edge of the village. Several Coop branches are much closer to Scalettastrasse, namely Coop-Kurfirsten and Coop-Tittwiesen. Coop-Quader would actually be a tad closer than Migros, but certainly not further away.

You should certainly remain friendly, but I can understand that such pointless and off-topic posts are annoying. I'm sure several accidents happen near Migros stores all over Switzerland every day, but that's why I read the newspaper and not the Migipedia forum.
