they could, but then it wouldn't be a landjäger anymore, would it?` i think you'll find an adequate counterpart in the vegetable department
Yes, Landjäger, but not the ingredients. That's what it's all about - Landjäger look, Landjäger taste but please NO Landjäger content! You want something that is just like meat, but then no meat content. I don't understand it either. Then you can make/eat meatless dishes like you used to.
There's nothing wrong with eating something without meat that tastes like meat because of the spices and the way it's processed - it doesn't take anything away from those who want meat. Or does it? I like both, I recently had some delicious tofu terriyaki skewers at an Asian store that really tasted like chicken terriyaki - vegan. Also nice and chewy because the tofu was half-dried, super tasty. But nobody is forced to eat alternatives, it just makes our range of food more varied for those who want it :)
Oh, that's not how it should come across. Only some meat substitutes are not "healthy" Beyond Burger: water, pea protein 18%, rapeseed oil, coconut oil, natural flavours, stabilizers: cellulose and methylcellulose, potato starch, maltodextrin, yeast extract, table salt, sunflower oil, dried yeast, thickener: Gum arabic, antioxidant: ascorbic acid, coloring beetroot juice, modified starch, acidifier: acetic acid, apple extract, lemon juice concentrate Hmhmhm I think there's better.
Hi Michi2000, thanks for your input. The specialist department has taken it on board and will discuss it in the next product range revision. However, the rather low demand will tend to speak against its introduction. Kind regards, Sina
