How is this supposed to work in a home bakery to do justice to the problem of coeliac disease, where wheat, spelt, barley, rye and much more is processed 🤷🏻♀️
Gluten-free baked goods must be produced in a separate production facility where no cereals containing gluten are processed. This would therefore be impossible in the home bakery.
Hello Toro_, thank you very much for your contribution. At the moment, our customers cannot find gluten-free bread rolls for immediate consumption in our range. The difficulty in this case is not in production, but in the store. As the rolls/breads would be close together, traces of wheat could get onto the gluten-free product and pose a risk to people with coeliac disease. But there is good news: Our specialist unit is currently working on offering gluten-free bread rolls/breads. These could come in a packaged form, for example. We have already made some progress with vegan alternatives. We recently launched a vegan plaited loaf - we are also currently looking into switching to a vegan alternative for other recipes. So you might soon be able to find gluten-free and vegan bread rolls in our range. Best regards, Chloe
