While researching another topic, I noticed that Migros prints the yellow-green vegan logo of the organization "V-Label International" on many products (even those not specifically aimed at vegans).
This V-Label was created by the lobby organization "Swissveg", which licenses its logo to product manufacturers and retail chains for a fee. By buying products with this logo, customers who eat a balanced diet are indirectly supporting the activities of the vegan lobby.
Can anyone from Migros say how much the licensing of this logo makes the individual products more expensive?
Why doesn't Migros simply create its own "vegan" logo, save the license fees and make the products cheaper?
