This substitute butter tasted so good. Now it is no longer edible for us. From what I read in the reviews, we are not the only ones. Has the recipe changed or was one batch bad?

I didn't particularly like the initial Vegan Bloc (I tried it once). I think these are much better: Naturli Bio streichzarter Block and Flora Plant (both available in the Coop, Flora Plan is now also available in Aldi).
Hello Blub82, thank you very much for your contribution. We have indeed already received some customer feedback on the V-Love vegan Bloc. We have therefore contacted our manufacturer. He informed us that he had tasted various samples. The products tested were flawless in terms of taste. However, the experts noted a slightly nuttier note. We suspect that this difference is due to harvest-related variations in the shea butter and almond paste. Refining could prevent these natural variations. However, because we have opted for a high degree of naturalness in the ingredients for this product, we deliberately refrained from doing so. We hope your next Bloc tastes the same again. Best wishes, Chloe
That's why I just buy normal butter. It tastes great and doesn't contain any flavors or fats from abroad. Yeah, I know, vegan and all, it's healthy and stuff. I just don't get it😉
You don't have to understand it, other people just want to live like that, that's great, everyone has the freedom to eat what they want. But it's also not necessary to mention animal products in every veggie/vegan post, whether it's how great a schnitzel tastes from an animal when it comes to veggie cookies, or butter from a cow. Has no added value in the discussion. But you don't have to understand why others want to eat this way, it's not important, as long as you're not bothered.
Yes, you're right. I let everyone eat what they want. I just don't understand why you would want to eat a substitute product that doesn't taste good. Hence my objection about the butter. Sorry, I won't post anything more about this. It was just a thought.

You can also just use normal margarine. It has no milk in it. It's been around for years and is even cheaper

I also buy normal butter, which always tastes great, but I also like to try vegan butter from time to time (out of curiosity). But butter is and remains my favorite ;-) And of course, everyone is free to eat however and whatever they want.
