I'd like to know if it will soon be possible to buy certain vegetables/fruits WITHOUT any unnecessary plastic packaging (especially as I have the small cloth bags you suggest to avoid plastic bags). Your bulk selection is already very good, but it's frustrating not to be able to buy certain vegetables/fruits because the only choice is in plastic packaging (e.g. broccoli).

The production of fruit and vegetables accounts for the majority of the carbon footprint, while packaging only accounts for 2 to 5%. For this reason, protecting the product - in other words, reducing food waste - is Migros' primary concern.
