Update 14: Migipedia in a new look - you'll be the first to see it

Update 14: Migipedia im neuen Gewand – ihr seht’s als erste

Looking back on the old year at the end of January doesn't really make much sense, does it? So let's take a look into the near future together. At the beginning of February, we plan to put the next major Migipedia changes online. Rating, asking and answering questions, the forum, the activity stream, voting and the exchange platform will continue to exist. But these pages will be given a new look and the home page will be completely new. You can see what the Migipedia homepage on a computer could look like in the future in the picture above. Pay attention, the articles "Banana Bread" and "Orange or Chocolate" are just examples. Let's take a look at the new features in detail. The start page itself now presents several topics side by side. The current carousel will disappear. The large image presents the primary theme and bears the image inset, which incidentally is derived from the Migros M and is part of the Migros communication signature. Okay, that was a bit theoretical with the M. But in the end, the point is to show more clearly that Migipedia is an important Migros website. The other pictures show other topics that we would like to introduce to you. On the far right of the picture you can see the profile and the community activities of the last 24 hours in total. Further down on the homepage there will again be a product search. We would like to invite you to browse through our product catalog. As you scroll down, depending on your login status (logged in, profile connected to Cumulus, etc.), you will see suggestions for products that you could rate. The forum and the questions about our products are also located on the start page, as is access to the exchange market. As already mentioned at the beginning, the functional scope of Migipedia remains the same. The detail pages themselves will have a new look. The changes will certainly be more noticeable on some pages and less so on others. And finally, I would like to answer the question of why we are making these changes. Over 75% of users visit Migipedia on a cell phone. The revised website will take this into account and we would like to make it easier for you to browse the site with our recommendations. Let's face it - nobody has an unlimited amount of time to find what they are looking for - our recommendations are designed to help you. And now I'll put down my pen again and continue working on the new website with my colleagues. Best regards Philipp
