You constantly read about how much packaging has been saved. But practically all promotional items are additionally shrink-wrapped in plastic film or packed in an extra box. I don't see the point. Why can't you simply sell the items in question at a reduced price during the promotion, starting from 1 item, as is usually the case on the shelf? There are more and more small households and people are complaining about food waste. At the same time, supermarkets want to tempt us to buy more than we need. Why don't you do something about it and not offer promotions in multiple packs with lots of plastic waste and cardboard for the garbage bag? I don't think sales would suffer and neither would the profit margin. Dear Migros, why don't you jump over the shadow and give up this stupid packaging nonsense? You can still present the promotional goods on separate racks and if I want 6 pieces of a promotion, I'll just put 6 individual ones in the weighing scales and not in a shrink-wrapped six-pack and if I live alone and only need one piece, I can also benefit from the promotion, that's what I call customer service. Is that really so difficult to realize? Or what speaks against it? Since many products come from our own industrial companies, it should be easy to implement.
In my opinion, that would also be a good advertising message. In any case, it would be much more appealing to me than the annoying collection campaigns with the cheapest plastic from China for children. So, I expect action. Thank you.
