Unique vegetables

Unique Gemüse

I think it's great that Coop carries unique vegetables. It would also be a great idea for Migros. I own two guinea pigs and can get vegetables so cheaply. The rodents don't care what their carrots look like anyway. It would be great and the unique vegetables always sell out quickly in the Coop stores. I think it's nice to give every carrot a life.

I am of exactly the same opinion. It doesn't matter to my animals whether the vegetables are beautiful or clean, the main thing is that they taste good and aren't rotten.

In this day and age, this would also send out an important signal. We consumers are far too focused on finding the perfect apple, the most beautiful carrot or the banana with as few blemishes as possible. If wholesalers were to integrate more imperfect fruit and vegetables into their range, society could slowly start to rethink this. Incidentally, I also buy the Ünique vegetables for myself and not just for my animals ;)

It would be long past time for Unique in Migros. But it's probably too expensive and too time-consuming to add these things to the range.

Hello everyone Good taste comes in many forms - that's why we at Migros have long been selling fruit and vegetables that don't meet the standards under M-Budget. We also process large or misshapen vegetables, such as giant carrots, in the food industry for convenience products and in our restaurants. I also recommend reading the following: https://www.migros.ch/de/nachhaltigkeit/food-waste/unsere-fortschritte/ganz-schoen-anders.html I will be happy to pass on your input. best regards
