You probably remember how Twint got its start: Swiss Post and Coop were involved - the so-called beacon based on Bluetooth was used. Then banks were also involved and, as you know, each bank has its own Twint app. - This is almost comparable to the banks' own apps. Nevertheless, there are people - and this is to be respected - who prefer the payment process on a prepaid basis, just as with credit cards or cell phone access. It is only logical that a prepaid version is also offered, if only because not every Swiss bank wants to or can participate with its own Twint version, e.g. small local banks. The prepaid version was therefore the "child" of Swiss Post and Coop as the first entrant - and that is precisely why I am writing this in such detail as an outsider - Migros will never be the "godfather". The fact alone that you cannot store the Cumulus card as a customer card with Twint and have to scan the Cumulus card separately when making a Twint payment proves that Migros has NO interest in these "credit codes".
