yesterday I came back from shopping and my garbage can was empty. I've just finished putting my packages away and my 35L garbage can is 3/4 full... and I'm sorting the paper/cardboard!!!!

What need is there to wrap a package of cookies in a plastic shell with a cardboard crinkle on it, which is wrapped in transparent plastic which is wrapped in cardboard which even sometimes at Christmas is wrapped in gift wrap... What need is there to wrap a tube of cream in cardboard? What need is there to wrap frozen hamburgers in plastic, which in turn is wrapped in cardboard?

no, it's time to make a DRASTIC effort in terms of packaging and eliminate plastic bags in the fruit/vegetable aisle (have you seen the number of lunatics who wrap a banana in a plastic bag, then a zucchini in another plastic bag etc.???) We make recycled paper bags, it's not complicated and by the way... OUST plastic bags at the checkout!!!

We always say that it's up to the consumer to be careful, but let's remember that when it comes to drugs, we're looking for the dealers, not the consumers... Let's do the same with packaging!!!!
