Today I bought some grapes and unfortunately didn't look very closely at the packaging. When I got home, I was surprised: the grapes tasted funny. And yes, the packaging said: cotton candy flavor. Simply horrible. Please stop using such strange and unnecessary products.

Hello Yoliboli, thank you for sharing your experience. Certain Migros cooperatives have been introducing the so-called cotton candy grapes for a few years now. These come from Italy and are produced by crossing different varieties. The taste therefore comes about naturally. As the berries have a cotton candy flavour, we have labelled them accordingly. I'm sorry that you didn't like the fruit. You may find a variety in our range that you like better. Best regards, Tabea

I like them very much and stand by them :-) I just think that the quality has suffered, I've had some bad (brown) grapes in every pack I've bought so far (3). The UVA are also one of my favorites, just with seeds ;-) and it's great that they're on sale!

As far as the quality of the fruit is concerned, I have forwarded your comments to our specialist department so that we can keep an eye on the issue. I feel the same way as Migroblitz, they taste very good to me too, but my packs have always been perfect so far :) But I have to admit that I had to get used to the taste first. At first I bought them wrong and found the taste a bit strange. But then I couldn't stop eating the pack :D

I have to admit, I'm also a big fan of the Candy Cotton grape. We like the taste. And the grapes are seedless. The perfect snack for children, I don't feel guilty about the grapes. As already mentioned, it is a new cross between two well-known varieties - the Concord grape and the Vitis Vinifera grape. The sugar content of this new grape variety is higher. Perhaps you can taste this and find it disturbing. Grapes contain vitamin B6 and folic acid. I'm happy when I've found something that the children like to eat.
