With our products, we always have to take several factors into account and weigh them up against each other. Especially with a product with the name "Tradition", customers expect traditional products to be included in the recipe. We are now fulfilling this wish. Sustainable is when you burn down whole areas and animals lose their lives (there are enough photos of the burned animals there) and it has nothing to do not only with Guatzli but also with all other products that are sold far too expensively in Switzerland.

Palm oil is the more sustainable vegetable fat compared to alternatives such as rapeseed oil, sunflower oil or coconut oil, as it is the most land-efficient. The problem is not the oil itself, but the way in which it is produced. That is why we rely on certified palm oil of the RSPO Segregated variety. This means that we know exactly which mills the oil comes from and can trace it in the event of complaints. Migros, together with the WWF, is one of the founding members of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). The aim is to improve palm oil production worldwide.
