Probably doesn't make sense. Microwaves actually only work via water, i.e. via H2O molecules, which are set in motion by the microwave and thus heat up. Plates hardly contain any water and at most become warm through the (moist) surrounding air and through losses, etc.
Microwave If you want to heat plates in the microwave, you should put a little water on the plate. However, plates made of stoneware or ceramic can be damaged in the microwave, so you should be careful here or heat the plates differently.

Thank you, that works, two tablespoons of water on the plate and then run the microwave at 100% for 90 seconds. I tested it with porcelain plates. Perfectly fine. Thanks again and have a nice Easter (probably not a problem in Ticino).

All you need to do is brush/moisten the underside of the plate with wet hands and then heat it in the microwave for 60-90 s. The advantage is that the top of the plate stays dry 😉 No need for a drying cloth 👍🏼
