Am I actually the only person who regularly gets painful pinched skin on their fingers? It's like this: I've had a Philipps vacuum cleaner from the City line for some time now, a good appliance that vacuums reliably. The pull-out tube causes me problems: If I use it to vacuum a carpet or the mattress, for example, the lock comes loose and the tube pushes back together - not without painfully pinching skin on my finger. Just last Saturday again ... it was not possible to separate the skin and the tube without "bloodshed" ... the cursing was corresponding. Where have the good old push-in tubes gone? Or at least telescopic tubes that do NOT go together when they are not supposed to .... I think a problem shared is a problem halved - has anyone had similar experiences?

If I lived in the USA, Migros or Philipps or both would have a "pain and suffering" lawsuit on their hands .... :-)
