Migros used to sell various very fine sauces in jars, e.g. tartare, horseradish, Bearnaise etc. These sauces are now suddenly no longer on sale. These sauces are now suddenly no longer on sale. Distributed by Migros France SAS, Archamps. Why? e.g. SCAN no. 7613312229286 There is a whole rack of Heinz sauces available from top to bottom. Thank you for your feedback.

You gave the answer yourself ;-) They've probably been replaced by branded products (Heinz)... I think it's a real shame that these sauces are no longer available, Heinz isn't really my thing.

Hello snowleo, thank you for your inquiry about the sauces in the jars. These are seasonal products that we only offer during the cold season. This means that we will have the products back in our range from calendar week 40. Kind regards, Richi

Hi Richi Thanks for the reply. We'll see if the sauces are available again from week 40. The staff at Migros are usually not well informed and could not give me an answer to this question. greetings snowleo

Dear Richi, that's great that these products are "only" seasonally available and have not disappeared from the range completely. Would it be possible to label all seasonally available products online and not simply remove them from the product catalog online (so that one has the feeling that these products have been removed from the range)? That would be very helpful and would make some of the inquiries here in the forum superfluous ;-) Best regards

Good idea, e.g. labeling like the seasonal yogurts (currant, apple strudel, etc.). For fruits and vegetables, however, I don't think such labeling is necessary. For breads, labeling whether a bread is only available on certain days of the week, such as the vegan plaited loaf, would help at best. (But perhaps the bread range is too varied for this to be practical).

What, the vegan hops aren't available every day?

Yes, and at the moment I can't find cinnamon stars and chocolate Easter eggs anywhere... Some people organize a brunch or midweek snack for which they want to provide plaited bread. Others are annoyed because their favorite bread is not available at the weekend because the space on the shelves is taken up by Sunday plaits. They could benefit from labeling. My post was a suggestion for labeling, not a demand for the same offer all year round or every day.

Hello smartcoyote, thank you very much for your feedback and for your suggestion. I was very happy to pass this on to the specialist department so that they can look into implementing it. I understand your point of view very well! Best regards, Richi

No, this labeling is not required for fruits and vegetables. But it would be very helpful for the other products. I think the labeling of breads might be a bit difficult to implement; I don't think the bread range is the same in all cooperatives...
