Hi, I have been wondering for some time why there is no chocolate bar with peanuts in it? I know the Peanut Slab from NZ and it's sooo good and I think other Migros customers would buy this chocolate too. https://kiwicornerdairy.com/whittakers-peanut-slab-chocolate-bar-50g

Good morning Trudy-S-Zueri An answer to the question: Why is there no chocolate with peanuts? from a manufacturer. You keep asking us why we don't produce peanut chocolate and we can see from your suggestions that peanuts and peanut butter are popular ingredients. A few years ago, RITTER SPORT had a whole peanut variety, but unfortunately we had to remove it from our range due to low demand. In addition, there are many chocolate lovers who demand peanut-free production due to an intolerance, as they can have allergic reactions to even the smallest traces. For these reasons, there will probably not be any RITTER SPORT varieties with peanuts for the time being. For all allergy sufferers, we indicate all ingredients and possible traces on the back of our bars. https://www.ritter-sport.de/blog/2014/07/29/nusse-soweit-die-schokolade-reicht/ Best regards Frederica
Why does your post read like you're from the Migros team?
@Bodenseeknusperli Does it do that for you? Well, not for me. I immediately realized that the text was a quote from the website in the attached link. Frederica writes that it is an answer from a manufacturer.
Whose manufacturer? Frey?
@Bodenseeknusperli You don't even have to click on the link to find out - just read it: RITTER SPORT.
Yes, yes. Yes, you are. I'm not that stupid. But what does Rittersport have to do with Migros? That's my question, what's the context to Migros? ↵↵There are bars with peanuts from Lidl Fin Carre, Aldi Choceur has some, both have been seen in CH during special offers, usually Halloween. Milka in Müller CH has the Mmmax version of such a huge bar, Schoggetten is available in Ottos with chopped peanuts, Zotti ectect. All made in DE. Yes, I just noticed because I would like to have it and am waiting for a good manufacturer😋 Ajso yes, the UK has Reeses with peanuts and chocolate in all variations.↵↵The fact that Rittersport doesn't make any, ok. So ↵↵So that should be clearer now.
@Bodenseeknusperli Ritter Sport has nothing to do with Migros. But at least I think it's good to get an argument from a manufacturer as to why there is no chocolate with peanuts until a statement comes from Migros/Chocolat Frey. If you are interested, you can search the internet for other opinions from manufacturers and compare what is being said. And then decide whether they are all the same or different and which one is the most plausible.
Hello Trudy-S-Zueri, thank you for your suggestion! At the moment we don't stock chocolate with peanuts, as demand is simply still too low. However, if we receive more requests, our specialist department will certainly look into adding them. However, we cannot promise you that we will implement this. Best regards, Brigitte
Just one question😁 How much and how strong does the "demand" have to be for it to be considered an actual idea to try out? There were countless requests↵↵↵Here 6 years ago with even a link to a collection request from many Frosty fans that can no longer be found https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/forum/schokoglace-im-becher?backtoboard=q%3DFrosty%26p%3D1%26sort%3Dlast_activity↵↵Continue here https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/forum/frosty-soft-glace?backtoboard=q%3DFrosty%26p%3D1%26sort%3Dlast_activity↵↵↵Then even more threads... and in surveys about what people would like to see back in crowdsourcing, for example, there were also mentions.↵↵-----------↵↵Or then the big thread with my big oosting of all summaries, which someone called a pamphlet https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/forum/frosty-glace?p=2↵↵Not included are other platforms.↵↵There has been a demand from many for years, but it is not seen as relevant. At what point does it become "important enough"?
Dear Bodenseeknusperli, hold on tight! The Frosty ice cream is coming back! Okay, and now maybe still hold on tight: The whole thing will take about 2 more years. Yes... It may take that long, because we have to revise the recipe for the original Frosty Glace - most of the ingredients used back then are no longer in keeping with the spirit of the times. Nevertheless, the ice cream should taste just as delicious as the "original". I wish you a little patience and an even better time of anticipation. Best wishes, Sina
