subito does not work more and more often

i am a supporter of the subito checkouts and have quickly become friends with the new system. unfortunately, for a few weeks now, paying at the subito checkout has not worked at all and i always have difficulties until i can finally leave the store. when i insert my card at the very end of the payment process, i.e. before i type in the code, the system restarts and then freezes completely. the cashiers are always helpful and friendly straight away, usually the system doesn't want to start up again and i have to pay for my purchases at the customer service desk. today the system also shut down promptly at the customer service desk when i inserted my card.
i suspect it has something to do with the new contactless payment function. under 40.-- contactless payment has worked perfectly with my cumulus mastercard so far.
is there a way to avoid these malfunctions? do i have to request a new cumulus mastercard? in the future i will avoid the subito checkout and thus also migros and shop at the coop, because the whole cabaret is really annoying me. i would be glad for an answer.
