There are so many products involved, it would be too vast. I'd like Migros to make it its policy (if it isn't already) to encourage as many products as possible that contain non-inflammatory oils.

Compared to rapeseed oil and olive oil, sunflower oil has a less pronounced clean taste and is therefore better suited to processing. This is why sunflower oil is used in some products, but whenever possible, rapeseed and olive oil are used in Migros products.
From a dietary point of view, we recommend that you opt for unprocessed products and use oils with polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as rapeseed or olive oil, in your cooking.
Indeed, these days, the quantity of linoleic acid (a polyunsaturated fatty acid essential to the human organism, belonging to the omega-6 fatty acid group) that we consume in our daily diet (in particular through sunflower oil and other oils readily used in industry) is more than sufficient. The quantity of omega-3 fatty acids, on the other hand, is insufficient. Yet they are considered to play an important role in the prevention of arteriosclerosis, heart attacks, inflammatory diseases such as rheumatism, and probably also allergies.
The use of rapeseed oil increases the intake of omega-3 fatty acids. To reduce the intake of omega-6 fatty acids, linoleic acid-rich oils such as sunflower oil and, more generally, fat-rich foods should be consumed in moderation.
