Why is it possible to find ripe and sweet apricots from far away France, but to be offered stony-hard and sour apricots from our nearby Valais?
By the way, the Landi is able to offer ripe apricots from Valais. This is not possible at the two CH mega-distributors.

the question is similar to mine: why do i pay more for local apricots in valais than for foreign ones? (although this doesn't really have anything to do with migros...) ;-p
Even foreign apricots at Migros can be rock-hard and sour, as I found out. That's why I decided not to buy any more apricots.
yes on top of that, the apricots on the wähe were individually wrapped, according to the label from Switzerland, how was that? rock hard and really sour ...
Fortunately in this case there was more vanilla pudding than fruit on the wafer... which I also wanted to complain about, I want to eat fruit wafer and not pudding on a pastry base :-(
If you were to ask me where Migros' notorious Achilles' heel lies, I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to answer: it's definitely the fruit. Pears, plums, peaches, nectarines, apricots, the occasional grape and, unfortunately, more and more melons are often sold unripe and "fall over" at home after a few days without ever reaching a degree of ripeness that I would consider good. A large proportion of the fruit I buy turns out to be simply inedible and ends up in the bin. As a result, my fruit consumption is unfortunately limited, even though I actually really enjoy eating fruit. My greatest wish would be for fruit to be of the same quality as vegetables.
