Migros is always writing in its magazine about how ecological it is. Obviously more self-praise than good... Unfortunately, I recently had a completely different experience. Last year I wanted to buy a new rubber seal for my Mivit (i.e. MIgros) brand pressure cooker. I went to Migros three times (in the same store) and the result was: unfortunately they no longer have it, you have to buy a new pot. Today the same thing for my Mio Star vacuum cleaner: the dust bags are unfortunately no longer available, you have to buy a new vacuum cleaner. With a vacuum cleaner, you could argue that older models need a bit more power, but it's not a freezer that runs 24/7... But with a pressure cooker? Where is the much-vaunted ecology? And I'm 100% sure I'm by no means the only one to experience this. Too bad, too bad :(

I can only agree with you. I bought a washing machine from Migros. Now it has broken down. I called the service company that does the repair service for Migros. Production was later discontinued and the pot was no longer sold, but the sealing ring was still available for over 12 years - until 2007 - and we also regret that the sealing ring was no longer produced; the manufacturer and Migros did everything possible to keep it available for as long as possible.

Unfortunately, I can't say any more about the vacuum cleaner model without further details. I suspect that your thought goes in the right direction: I had to buy a new appliance a long time ago for the same reason - there were no more bags. It turned out that, apart from my vacuum cleaner, there were probably only a handful of this really old model that were still running or still in use... and at some point the demand for the bags simply became too small.
