Really now? That's exactly the opposite of what should actually be done! For me, this is clearly the wrong signal, because it encourages old people to go to the stores even more. Many municipalities offer to do the shopping for all those affected, there is a well-functioning neighborhood help system and the stores themselves have set up a shopping and delivery system that is free of charge. I think that people should be allowed to go out, stretch their legs a bit, go for a walk or get out in the sun, but please, please, please just don't go into stores! There will soon be more pleasant times again and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Migros staff for their tremendous efforts!
