Dear Migros Yesterday I was at Do it to buy a parasol. I looked in vain for the declaration of origin in the description and on the sewn-in label of the umbrellas on display. I don't think so. Frauenfeld TG is the headquarters of Glatz AG. This Swiss family business produces sunshades according to Swiss design. - However, I have not found any information on the Glatz website about WHERE the parasols are produced. https://www.glatz.ch
With Swiss made, everything is made in Switzerland. With Swiss designed, it is designed and the distribution is coordinated in Switzerland. EDIT: I'm not sure what that means for production, but it would be interesting to hear the answer from Migros ^^ No China for once. Oh well.
Where can you read that the production facilities are in DE, AT and FR?

@Apis Above the red Swiss Made logo, it says SWISS MADE again in small, gray letters and an i in a circle to the right of it. If you click on this, a small piece of information pops up: "Developed, designed and manufactured in Switzerland". https://www.glatz.ch/de/schirme/sortiment/180-00-220-751-52-523 If you do the same with the Swiss Design logo, it says: "Developed and designed in Switzerland". Dear Migros I am disappointed! In fact, I and apparently the other participants in this forum were misled by the information available. We were under the impression that the umbrellas were produced in Europe. Despite wearing reading glasses, I did not see the reference between the price and the barcode. - Was this customer deception intentional or a lack of interest in a clear declaration of origin?
