so-called organic puff pastry

sogenannter Bio-Blätterteig

This morning I bought puff pastry in the Ostermundigen branch. Unfortunately, there was no "normal" puff pastry in the "small block" 250 gr form, only the organic puff pastry, barcode no. 7616700165135.

I used it this evening. It came straight from the fridge, where it had been for at least 6 hours. It felt very soft. When I unpacked it, I noticed lots of little black-brown dots in the dough - I thought, "aha, probably healthy organic grain!".
I set about rolling it out. Then I noticed that it had hardly become any thinner and was tearing all over. I used a lot more flour than normal. Nevertheless, it tore, stuck to the floured rolling pin, stuck to the floured granite slab, stuck and tore everywhere. I only just managed to produce the 4 rounds I needed.
With the filling, it was barely possible to close the pastry pockets without tearing. I filled the holes with leftover dough.
During baking, all the dumplings tore open.
When I ate them, the so-called puff pastry turned out to be totally cardboard-like, miles away from puff pastry.

I suspect that there was a serious manufacturing error behind this. It can't be a packaging error, because the contents are not normal dough, neither pasta, pizza, cake or any other type of dough.

Tomorrow I will take the second block of dough I bought at the same time and the remains of the baked box to the Ostermundigen branch and ask for my money back.
