Oh come on, that's ridiculous. Statistically speaking, most meat, especially sausages, is grilled. And of course Migros and Coop want to sell exactly that. Of course, something else can end up on the barbecue (in addition), whether it's a few potatoes, tomatoes, corn on the cob or pepperoni, but compared to meat, that's significantly less.
But some people probably wish that only fair-trade, vegan, lactose-free Swiss Demeter tofu schnitzel from sustainable catches that protect dolphin populations and rainforests with at least 20 seals of approval from lesbian black disabled people (hello, Funny van Dannen) were presented in barbecue advertising. My God, I'm not a fan of advertising, but even less of completely exaggerated political correctness and eco-dictatorship.
Of course, what is advertised is what is bought the most and not what certain groups wish would be bought the most.

Shouldn't a barbecue be for EVERYONE? With only meat, we exclude some participants, e.g. at family parties. And animal barbecues are not welcome everywhere in the neighborhood!

Of course, but at a family party you usually know the people and know whether there are vegetarians/vegans there. Or you just ask beforehand. And then you make corn, pepperoni, eggplants, cheese, etc. for them - I don't see any problem with that at all.
But that's just a minority compared to meat. Even if some would wish otherwise for ideological reasons, the vast majority of people are omnivores and associate barbecuing with meat enjoyment. And that's what advertising appeals to.
But if you can only buy what you've seen in the adverts, I feel sorry for you. Of course you can also buy something completely different. For example, I don't even know what meat is shown in the advertisements ... but it's probably not the M-Budget neck chops that I like to grill, in general I've hardly seen any advertising for M-Budget products ...

This is a clear case of "personal problem". If you have such a sensitive nose, you just have to stay indoors and close the windows and doors.
