You now have the delicious winter cod, the skrei, on offer. Unfortunately, I have to realize that the best part of the fish has already been cut off, because I particularly like the skin and would prefer to eat it too.
Can't you tell your suppliers to leave the skin on? Coop can do it, and if they can do it, so can you! Less waste, more taste.

If you don't want that, you can ask for the fillet to be skinned briefly. I don't mean the pre-packaged pieces.
@indios: Go and have a look at the fish display. Compare the prices of organic salmon fillets with and without skin, then you won't be writing comments like that anymore...

No, I'm serious. Go and look at the fish display. There's salmon fillet. There are two different ones. One with skin and one without. The fillets without skin are more expensive than those with skin.
This means that if the skrei came with skin, it would be a little cheaper, as Migros could also sell the skin. If you then want it without the skin, you have it cut away and end up paying about as much as you do now.

We sell skrei fillets without the skin, as it is not the whole fillet, just the back of the fillet. A whole fillet would be around one meter long and 30 centimeters wide. The back of the fillet is a particularly fine piece.
We do indeed sell other fish fillets, such as salmon, with and without the skin, as these are always whole fillets.
Our specialist department is not aware that other suppliers sell skrei fillets with skin - at least not such cut back pieces. Other fillets do, of course, just as we do.
Fillets without skin are actually more expensive than those with skin. If you want a fish fillet skinned by the butcher, you also pay for the skin. In the end, it doesn't make much difference to the price whether it is already skinned in the display or whether the butcher does it first.
