Coincidence... or not? Two years ago I applied for a senior citizen card. After several attempts, it didn't work - so I wrote to the management. And lo and behold ... three weeks later I had the card - 8 months after my 60th birthday. August 2019: My wife celebrates her 60th birthday. Application on the website - unsuccessful. Second application - unsuccessful. Phone call to the hotline with the message to please fill out the application form again. Without success. Never received a card from August 2019 to date (beginning of March 2020). Coincidence or not? We're both having the same experience. There's definitely a strategy behind it. Advertise the card yes, deliver the card no. Since MIGROS makes negative headlines in the Sunday press almost every week, it would be advisable to at least take care of the "small customer". Or rather to communicate clearly that you should go to the competition. It's pretty weird!

Hello kono791, thank you for your contribution. I'm sorry that it didn't work with the registration. Please contact the Migros Cooperative Aare (m-infoline@migrosaare.ch) directly with your request. It is best to send them your wife's details so that they can check this. If necessary, they will send your wife a registration card and a provisional senior citizens' card by post. Really...? Are you sure? I wasn't aware of that before! But look, COOP is miles ahead. At MIGROS, pure cooperative thinking still prevails. Just look at what's going on in Freiburg/Neuenburg...
