At the self-checkout, I got through 5 items in 3-5 minutes. Then I was surprised: at the same time, a person next door with an overflowing trolley was paying at the self-checkout without having picked up a single item from the trolley contents. My question: + Is it possible to do self-scanning and complete the payment process at the self-checkout after returning the scanning device? ... If yes, then you could certainly go back quickly after returning the scanner and pick up a forgotten item and scan it in afterwards ? The checkout slips on site have a QR code - a new system

Hello max_meier Next door was probably paid via SubitoGo. That's what I've been doing since this has been offered. Pay while heading for the payment stations - wait for the confirmation and Frederica is gone. best regardsFrederica

Thank you @Frederica - I was under the impression that this was only a pilot in the Bern region. I read through the "subito go file" on the internet. As the person completed the payment process at the self-checkout with a credit card, they did not enter it in the Migros app. Otherwise, this payment process would have been possible there too.

I noticed this this morning in Rheinpark St. Margrethen SG.

Hello max_meier, thank you for your request. Previously, it was not technically possible to separate the two subito formats (self-checkout and self-scanning). With our new checkout system, you can now use all subito stations for both applications. This means that the customer next to you has made their purchase via self-scanning and paid at the station. Once the scanner has been returned, no further items can be added. If a product has been forgotten, you can contact our service staff. This option is available to you.
