Has it been taken out of the range? I can't find them anywhere. What a pity.

I found the answer to a similar question here(https://selection.migros.ch/de/produkte/selection-vanillemuehle.html#tab-extended-productQuestions). It is astonishing and regrettable that a product with such high customer satisfaction (4.7 out of 5) is being removed from the range because "demand has been declining for a long time". The product was only on sale for around 2.5 years. That's hardly enough time to establish it on the market. Especially for a product that is not usually used on a daily basis. Whoever saw the vanilla mill in my shop was enthusiastic and bought one. But... It just takes time for the word to get around. Too bad Migros obviously didn't have the patience. The question is what is more important for Migros: customer satisfaction (with 4.7 out of 5 points, obviously) or maximizing returns. Obviously the latter. What a pity. Or would Migros not like to reconsider...?

Hello @Cygnus2112, thank you for your feedback. Space in our stores is limited. In fact, there was not enough demand for the item, which ultimately led to this measure. We are aware that by doing this we have given up an item that was popular with a smaller group of people. I have of course informed the relevant specialist department so that a possible reintroduction can be examined. Kind regards, Richi
If a product stays in the Migros range for 2.5 years, that's quite a long time. Products have also been removed from the range after just six months because they weren't selling well enough.
Aldi Suisse added a vanilla grinder to its range at practically the same time as Migros. But I don't know whether it is still available there.
Hello @Superseestern, thank you for your query. I understand your explanation, it really was something special. Unfortunately, the specialist department has informed me that there are no plans to reintegrate the mill. Unfortunately, I can't offer you an alternative. Kind regards, Richi
