At Migros, environmentally conscious packaging with less plastic and made from recyclable materials is also a big issue and we are currently looking into optimizing some packaging in the near future. Unfortunately, an on-site filling station, which some customers would like, is not so easy to implement. When filling, we have to ensure that the cosmetics comply with legal requirements and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). GMP requires good manufacturing practice. This is an instrument for quality assurance that guarantees the production of a cosmetic product in reproducible, consistent quality. This is mandatory for cosmetics and is documented accordingly. Filling is considered a manufacturing step and is therefore part of GMP. For this reason, the open sale of personal care products is still in the clarification phase. In my house, these soaps also last much longer than the liquid versions. Studies have also shown that solid soaps are no less hygienic than liquid soaps. However, you also have to make sure that you clean the soap dish regularly. For me, switching to solid soap was a good sustainable alternative. One plus point: I was able to buy a nice soap dish. It's not just good for your hands, but also for your eyes.

completely agree! just a few minutes ago I also found a dialog about solid shampoos and there also pointed out the advantages of such simple things in operation. And as my experience shows, then out enough for a longer time, as well as now such a selection of absolutely different products that you can find both beautiful and super natural ones! I think I've already completely given up on plastic packaging for liquid soap, and when I buy solid soap, I just throw the soap packaging in the box.
