Lumpfish roe: Four unnecessary colorants in one natural product
Seehasenrogen: Vier unnötige Farbstoffe in einem Naturprodukt
Hello dear Migros team/community!
I'm not really one for E-numbers, but I think this is a bit much. There are four unnecessary colorants in your (otherwise great!) lumpfish roe: E 141, E150d, E 151, E163.
It is clear to me that the black coloring of the fish eggs is intended to fool the customer into thinking it is caviar. But I think this is an extreme shame for a natural product. Roe is very healthy because of its valuable fatty acids. Surely you don't want to add pointless colorants to it every time?
I don't think anyone would be bothered by the natural orange/pink coloring. And since this is a Migros product, I see hope that this could be changed. :)
