here is an excerpt from the Berner Zeitung of February 24, 2012, page 31, "Berner Platte à la chinoise" by Mathias Born.

Both companies want to take care of the bean issue.

COOP had Swiss dried beans on offer last year under the SLOWFOOD label.
However, I haven't found any this year, except at the farmers' market or on their portals.
