Harmful thinning out of the product range, millet, brown rice and others

Schädliches Ausdünnen des Sortiments, Hirse, Vollreis und andere

Last year, a number of items that were all my favorites disappeared from the Flamatt store. Now, for example, there are what feels like 200 packs of the same type of breakfast cereal taking up 5m of shelf space.
Profit isn't everything! Thinning out the product range is harmful. Because:
-loyal customers are driven away
-because they visit the Migros store just for a favorite product, do all their other shopping there and see the innovations.
-If this product is missing, the consumer goes to the (larger) Coop or Denner branch in the village.
-The customer gets the feeling of being unwanted
-The customer gets the feeling that Migros wants to make the store unattractive so that it can be closed

It would be better:
Stock a corner with "specialties", products which are still in demand but no longer generate much sales.

Products that have disappeared:
-Sheep's milk (important for allergy sufferers)
-Sandwich cream green Vegiline
-Milk spread Brunch
-Coffee Espresso ground Max Havelaar Fairtrade
-raw rice or brown rice
-Millet for cooking (not flakes)
-Couscous
-Bulgur
-Budget cereal bars
-Farmer of the simple varieties
and certainly many more

Hello

Unfortunately, M stores (one M) only offer a very limited range. You can find more at MM (two M) or MMM (three M). However, there are also differences in the product ranges of MMMs of the same cooperatives and a number of products that can only be found in a few stores. There doesn't seem to be any real structure, the stores offer what they want and simply leave out others. The excuse is then that the items are not required. They can't do that if they are not on offer.

One-stop shopping has not been possible at Migros for a long time, they now stock too many expensive branded products and too few typical Migros "copies". I don't buy Ragusa as a matter of principle, but I try out all similar products. If Migros were to offer Tresella again, I would go back to Migros more often for this reason alone and would certainly buy something else from time to time.

Gazelle, Denner is now also Migros. :-) The competition would be Coop and in Düdingen there's also an Aldi and a Lidl.
