In this category, I'm dying to get back to the caramel mousse desserts of my childhood, available in the 90s.
There was a caramel mousse (I want it!) and a chocolate one, in the same format as the caramel and chocolate chantilly you can buy today, but they were very airy mousses with lots of little bubbles.
Today's range of caramel desserts is limited to creams and custards.
There was also a "praliné" cream that was too good in a 500gr jar... Too bad it wasn't sold for long... But there are other brands...
There were the wonderful chocolate gougelopf and the firm strawberry yoghurt that I never found again. I'm slowly sliding towards co-op products, whereas I used to be a loyal Migros customer ... a little disappointed by these product discontinuations on the altar of yield and productivity.
