I would love it if the seasonal fruit and vegetables could be found on a shelf in the fruit and vegetable section. This would make it possible to see at a glance what is reasonable to buy, as it would correspond to the season.

The arrangement of the product ranges is subject to various requirements - one of them will certainly be a certain consistency so that customers can quickly find the products they are looking for. I would be happy to forward your idea to the responsible department so that it can be considered for future planning work if necessary.

That's a good idea in itself, but unfortunately I don't think it's been thought through to the end. Today, attempts are already being made to separate organic from non-organic, to specifically label regional products and, of course, the products that are currently (abundantly) on offer.
How exactly do you want to bring in the season (and I assume the local season?)? The Swiss apples (big praise to Migros ZH for the selection they offer) are almost always in season, do the potatoes only appear on the "special shelf" as soon as the new (early) varieties are available? And in September this shelf will probably be bursting at the seams ... Apart from that, I don't have the time to look for onions in one place and then another.

I have received another response to your suggestion. First of all, I would like to say thank you again. :)
Then I found out that this is already incorporated into the design of the displays wherever possible, and that the seasonal highlights are displayed at the entrance to the fruit and vegetable section wherever possible. Unfortunately, not all products always have space there, so we limit ourselves to the most popular ones. But that gives you a general idea.
