Whether and to what extent Migros is really "better" as a result (and if so, for which interest groups) cannot be comprehensively assessed here, but can only ever be posted from a subjective customer perspective.
Similarly, a look at Migipedia, especially in the forum area "Migros products" (and here in SÄMTL. 3 discussion areas) can only serve as an indication that the great CONCERN and widespread lack of understanding about almost every other MIGROS product, some of which have been appreciated for YEARS, DECADES, that is dropped from the range is not solely the customer's own.
Even if it is necessary to "reduce the range", however, it is unlikely to be beneficial, especially in the long term, to remove so many MIGROS-specific products from the range or "only" offer them seasonally/ in large stores and instead focus more on trend products or imitate them more or less successfully. An ever-increasing number of products that have been removed from the range/relegated to "seasonal offerings" in recent months were ONLY available at MIGROS, as characteristic MIGROS [and with the "strawberry mouth jam" even "Migipedia"! A return to MIGROS ("cult") products seems advisable and desirable in several respects.
