Hello everyone, I have a Migros wheelbarrow, several decades old, not much used in the garden, but every year I have to deal with the tire or inner tube: flat, punctured, uninflatable, valve out of order, etc. So, to replace this year's tire, completely blown out, I want to try to find a wheel compatible with the wheelbarrow frame.
And what's more, I've seen that there are wheels with solid puncture-proof tires, or all-plastic ones (Merox), that could be compatible. Of course, I could buy a new wheelbarrow at the first price, for barely more than the cost of the wheel, or the tire + separate inner tube ... ... but I'm still thinking of finding a repair solution, other than throwing away/replacing. Especially for a wheelbarrow I don't use much, in fact! tire size 3.50-6 wheel size is: hubs 17.5 cm, axle diameter 1.5 cm (axle without ball bearings), axle length 9-9.5 cm overall diameter with uninflated tire 30 - 31 cm, but a bigger or smaller wheel would be possible too! Hi all, wheelbarrow enthusiasts, for your information, I recently saw an advert for the new Migros BIBOX SMART wheelbarrow with puncture-proof wheel (139.- complete), just what we need! Now we just need to check that the size and various diameters match (wheel, axles, axle length, etc!).For the moment, the question is pending at Migros customer service -thanks to them for the follow-up-, waiting for an answer from their supplier as to whether we can order the wheel alone! Well, by the end of August, they should have finished the company vacations! If anyone has already bought one, (wheel alone) please let me know! Thanks. Because, I'm still in the spare part option, and NOT replacing the whole wheelbarrow, which would have been quicker and easier. But with this rain, we've got time to wait for good (weather) before resuming the work! Good day Cordially

I had the same problem with my wheel barrel , flat tire after it gets old and dried out, expecially the stem for the air intake. So I went to Jumbo in there middle isles and found they have several choices of solid wheels, but seems most were not big enough for a wheelbarrel, but its worth taking your wheel to the store and check or ask for help and see if you can order a size you need.

Hello, thanks for the reply. I have one more answer from the Migros after-sales service, bravo and thanks to them, who got the answer from their supplier. The wheel for the Bibox smart wheelbarrow is puncture-proof and can be ordered as a spare part. Well done Just that the price is rather high (84.-)! but puncture-proof. But not in stock, difficult to compare size, axle, hubs, diameters, etc. Otherwise, wheel-tire-chamber-air models are around 25.--35.-. But life is short and hard. See you soon.
