Why have rosemary (dried, ground) and thyme (dried, ground) been removed from the range? Two more of my favorite products are now missing from the Migros range...

Hello Susi ;) The ground rosemary and thyme have a very intense flavor and therefore you need much less, which is probably the reason for the lower demand. Then simply offer less of it than taking the products completely out of the range! The powders have the advantage that you don't have to boil them for hours so that they don't get stuck in the gums, unlike the needles.
It's been a long time since I bought ground thyme for the reasons I mentioned, but it was still in the packaging as in the ones left by Bodenseeknusperli (thanks for that @Bodenseeknusperli :)) I wish you would at least announce it before you remove my favorite products from the range so that I can stock up on them... Addendum: what actually happens to the remaining stocks of these products? Suggestion: why don't you set up a corner in the shop/online store where you offer the remaining stock of products that still have a shelf life instead of throwing them away? I'm certainly not the only hamster who would regularly stop by there ;)
While we're at it, what feels like 100 years ago, there was also ground marjoram. The spice counter at Migros has long been a joke: ready-made mixtures as far as the eye can see! For unimaginative cooks who have no idea how to cook with spices, but can easily tell the difference between 11 red balsamic vinegars (I really counted them). I stopped getting upset about disappearing products a long time ago. I look for alternatives from other suppliers and while the Migros trolley used to be full to bursting, it is now shared by several suppliers. Too bad, I used to be a real Migros kid.

Hi Yeeesha As you correctly guessed - the demand for ground thyme was not very high. When we discontinue an item, we sell it for half the normal price the week before we discontinue it. So you still have the opportunity to stockpile a few products. Kind regards
