Pink tuna in the water

Rosa Thon im Wasser

The thon is good, but the closure is disastrous. You have to be extremely careful not to cut yourself (this has happened many times) and you can't pour out the water well without the clay coming out with it.
Please change the closure back to how it used to be, so that you just need the normal opener.

Sali indios,

Thank you for your feedback. I will be happy to pass on your feedback internally. Best regards, Silvia

Sali indios,

I have already received an answer from our product manager. The situation is that

the current closure is appreciated by many customers. Since the can does not require a classic opener, it is suitable for use on the go, e.g. on a hike. However, if you prefer to use an opener, nothing stands in the way. You just have to make sure that you use a slightly newer can opener. The new can has a higher rim, which is why older can openers unfortunately fail, and I also have a little tip for you. The water can be poured off very easily by first opening only a small part of the can and only then removing the whole lid. Perhaps you could try this out. I look forward to hearing your feedback and wish you every success.

Best regards,

Silvia

Thanks for the feedback, but I have already tried that too. Just open it a little, then a whole vat of water with thon comes out!!!
Too bad, then I'll have to buy this in the Coop again....
What is the forum here good for..........
Some sort of justification or excuse is sought for everything, but unfortunately never a change.

Drain the thon the way my grandmother used to do in the 1950s, namely in a sieve.

Sooner or later this problem will solve itself, as tuna is completely overfished.
