I know it from my previous professional stays in Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia. In the hotel for breakfast in the mues(e)slis; in soups and meatballs (meatless meatballs) in businesses; as a guest in desserts!

I think rye flakes are fine too, but then only from 100% rye flakes and not mixed with other flakes or other ingredients.
