Why do the normal Risoletto bars 210 gr pack cost 4.50.- and the mini Risoletto 210 gr bag 3.50.- ????? Surely the small individual packs should be more expensive than the large bars? And then so much ?

Interestingly, you cannot rely on the larger packs being cheaper. Always pay attention to the price per kg. This is not only the case with chocolate.

Hello Red Tiger,
Thank you for your inquiry. There are indeed sometimes different prices for different packaging and sizes. However, I need to clarify exactly how these are made up and what causes this difference. I hope to be able to give you an answer quickly.

Hello Red Tiger
The different prices are indeed a bit confusing - but the product manager was able to explain to me how this is made up. There are two main reasons:
1. the Risoletto Mini's and the Risoletto Bar are not made on the same production line and require different production processes. This means that the production process for the two items is not the same, resulting in different production costs. The sales price is also based on the manufacturing costs and, as in this case, leads to different 100 g prices.
2. more production units (pieces) can be sold per purchase of a Risoletto Mini's pack, and if a larger quantity (the number of pieces counts here, not the weight) can be sold, then the lower prices are also passed on.
I hope we were able to answer the question clearly.

As a child I always got them from my grandmother - back then they only cost about 25 centimes! It's remarkable how the prices have risen
