Recipe idea

Rezeptidee

Dear Community

Today I was at a loss in Migros and didn't know what to buy. Do I fancy vegetarian or should I go for a meat-based menu? I didn't have a recipe in mind at the moment either. Then I had THE idea: wouldn't it be practical if there was a screen in the food department where you could make a rough selection of what you wanted to cook and how expensive the ingredients could be, etc., and this selection would suggest recipes that you could easily recreate at home? I imagine this as follows: Once the recipe has been selected, it is transferred to the self-scanning device on which the required ingredients can be read. Now one item after the other can be scanned in using the device (advantage: no item is forgotten) and paid for. Now the recipe only needs to be printed out on the receipt after payment.... and voilà.

Is such an idea feasible? Is there any demand at all?

Good morning @Idee,

But would you cook it yourself? ?

There are thousands of recipes in all the media. We are fighting on several fronts for the abolition of receipts and you want to rape this paper with cooking instructions and cause traffic jams in the food departments with screens!

Ask Siri (software from Apple[Speech Interpretationand Recognition Interface]) for menu suggestions or recipes, because Siri understands what you say and what you mean!

Kind regards
Frederica

Nope, no need

Hello everyone

Many thanks for your input @Idee and for joining the discussion @Bodenseeknusperli, @Frederica and @moz79.

I have also clarified this again with our store design experts. Unfortunately, the proposal is almost impossible to implement at Migros. The main problem is that you would have to direct customers to the respective food products. At Migros, however, we have around 600 stores with different layouts, which makes the project almost impossible.

However, the website http://restegourmet.de/siehtsuggested by @Bodenseeknusperli definitely looks exciting. I hope you find what you're looking for there @Idee.

Best wishes and have a good day, Tabi
