Reduction of packaging materials

Reduktion von Verpackungsmaterialien

I would like Migros to focus more on reducing outer packaging, unnecessary packaging material and recyclable packaging.

For example, I can still remember the tubular packaging for milk. In my opinion, this was somewhat impractical because once cut open it was open. However, if you were to attach a usable screw cap to these tube packs, you could put the milk in the tube pack in the fridge and it would be sealed and not leak.
Extrapolated to the potential of your customers, you could reduce the amount of waste enormously.

Basically, you should consider how much packaging is necessary for each product.
Another example is the Vegi line from Migros, which I really like. Why does every product still have cardboard packaging when it's hanging in the cooler? This is always disposed of immediately at home and has no reason to exist other than for marketing purposes. You can also label a product attractively on a plastic tray. In the case of meat products, this is also accepted by customers. Is this the way it is packaged for products that appeal to a customer group that tends to pay more attention to the environment?

Apart from that, I think Migros is great :-)
