Switzerland is exemplary when it comes to recycling. We currently separate around 98 percent of our waste. But there is still potential.
If every household had the appropriate bags that were sturdy enough to hold a sip of beer left in a beer bottle and the bag was big enough that you could easily take it to the disposal point by bike, perhaps the small remainder would also be disposed of separately.
I used to be able to buy such bags in Migros, but unfortunately I can no longer find them.
